A path pointed at road traffic law from the start

After starting out at a business school, Yohan Dehan finally turned to law. He quickly developed a marked interest in road traffic criminal law, a field in which he gradually built his expertise.

Holding a Master's in public law, he was sworn in in 2014 and chose from the outset to practise independently. His first cases, notably challenges to traffic tickets, led him to build a practice centred on litigation combining legal precision and concrete, day-to-day stakes for the people involved.

Hello Avocat: a platform built to make the law easier to reach

With Allan Schinazi, he founded Hello Avocat, a structure that combines the work of a law firm with a digital service you can reach from a phone.

The aim: to make legal steps simpler, faster and more accessible, while smoothing communication between clients and lawyers.

The app lets you, among other things, send a ticket in a few seconds and be told immediately whether it can be challenged. The firm presents the tool as using advanced analysis technology in order to speed up the review of cases, while stressing that every procedure gets legal handling from a lawyer.

Work that reaches well beyond contesting tickets

While challenging traffic offences is a large share of their work, the firm covers a wider spectrum:

• Licence suspensions and revocations,
• Criminal law,
• Personal injury cases.

This all-round approach lets the firm support a client from the first administrative difficulties through to the most technical procedures. The lawyers act across the whole country when the situation calls for it (mainland France and the overseas territories).

Yohan Dehan stresses how much a responsible use of digital tools matters. The app and the analysis tools do not replace legal expertise: they make the steps easier and save time, but the decisions stay in the hands of legal professionals.
