We had the pleasure of welcoming Valérie Pons-Tomasello on Cheat Code to discussOcci Avocats and his background, which will surely interest you, because this kind of journey has never been seen before on Cheat Code.

Occi Avocats is a firm specialized in family and inheritance law, as well as in the areas of real estate, construction, contracts and insurance.

Their values are simple: placing people at the heart of their support, dealing with cases quickly and maintaining a close relationship with their customers.
A testimony illustrates these words well:

“Very competent law firm. Maître Pons-Tomasello was very responsive and gave good advice. Listening to its client, I recommend this firm that I will not hesitate to contact again to defend myself if necessary.”

Valérie has always believed that lawyers should come together and specialize.

It is with this in mind that OCCI AVOCATS was born, in collaboration with its partner, Maître Pierrick BOURNET.

Beginnings and risk taking

A lawyer in Toulouse since 2004, she quickly became aware of her entrepreneurial spirit.
It was essential for her to develop particular expertise, especially in family law.

At that time, she had two options: either to buy a firm, or to join a structure and become a partner.
Buying a firm seemed complicated, as it did not have capital or liquidity.

She therefore asked two banks: one refused to follow her, but the other accepted.
Buying a customer base is always a risky bet, but it can be very beneficial if the work is rigorous and if the trust of customers is earned.
